Physics at CWRU
During my tenure at Case Western Reserve University I earned a BS in physics.
My first job in the department was as a "student helper guy" in the teaching labs, under the direction (at the time) of Prof. Robinson, aka D. K. Robbie Robb!
My second (and last) job was with Prof. Dan Akerib's research group. As the CWRU member of the CDMS collaboration, we got to play with a really cool, big, fridge, and other expensive goodies. My work peaked with my senior project, where I basically measured the superconducting transition temperature of tiny tungsten (W) films. Read about it, if you want.
