Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Bake 200°C 8 minutes
| 250 ml | butter |
| 60 ml | sugar |
| 190 ml | brown sugar, packed |
| 5 ml | vanilla |
| 125 ml | boiling water |
| 5 ml | baking soda |
| 500 ml | rolled oats |
| 2.5 ml | salt |
| 375 ml | flour |
| 250 ml | chocolate chips |
Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Mix boiling water with soda, and add to sugar mixture. Gradually blend in oats, salt, flour and chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork.
