Pork Chop Casserole
Bake 175°C 1-1.5 hours
| 4 | pork chops |
| 375 ml | raw rice |
| 2.5 ml | thyme |
| 2.5 ml | marjoram |
| 1 | small onion, sliced |
| 1 | tomato, sliced |
| 1 | green pepper, sliced |
| 4 | carrots, chopped |
| some | salt |
| dash | pepper |
| 1 can | consommé |
| 2 cans | water |
Put rice in bottom of casserole dish. Sprinkle thyme and marjoram over rice. Brown pork chops and lay over rice. Place onion, tomato, green pepper, and carrots on top. Add salt, pepper, consommé, and water. Cook until rice is tender.
Funny thing, I don't know where my mom got this recipe from. I had never had it before!
