Shortbread Cookies
150°C 20-25 minutes
| 125 ml | cornstarch |
| 125 ml | icing (confectioners) sugar |
| 250 ml | sifted flour |
| 250 ml | butter, must be butter |
Sift together cornstarch, sugar, and flour. Blend in butter with a spoon until the dough is soft. Roll out till about 1 cm thick (or so) on a lightly floured surface, and cut into whatever shape you want.
My Mom got this recipe from her Mom. I don't know where Grandma got it from. Maybe I should ask her.
